Charles Edward Johnson, Jr., 60, of Forest, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006. He was the loving husband of Janice C. Johnson for 40 years.
Born August 4, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles Edward Johnson, Sr. and Mary-Ann Sinclair Johnson.
He was retired from Xerox Corporation, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and Lynchburg-N-Scalers Train Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory four children, Robert Thomas Johnson, Cheri-Ann Johnson and boyfriend, Matthew Maurice of Lynchburg, James Charles Johnson and wife, Heather Suzanne, and Christopher Edward Johnson of Forest; two grandchildren, Michael Ryan Johnson and Kayla Nicole Johnson; and an aunt, Gloria Hewitt of Louisa.
The family wishes to thank all of his friends and neighbors that showed their kindness and support during his illness.
